As co-founder of Citibank Germany, Heinz initiated the concept of Treasury in Banks. He formulated Citibank’s Market Risk Policy and was a co-founder and member of Citi’s Market Risk Policy Committee. Over a distinguished 36-year Career, living in Germany, Manila, Hong Kong and New York, he directed financial trading risk management and internal controls of Citibank’s foreign exchange, money market, and securities business on all five continents.
